About WSP
WSP are currently offering two bursaries based in Johannesburg, South Africa – one within Engineering, and the other in Environmental Sciences. Both bursaries are for students in their 2nd, 3rd, or final year of the relevant degree.
Engineering Bursary: Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical engineering
Environmental Sciences Bursary: Currently studying a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Science (Honours) with a passion for environmental sciences.

Who Can Apply?
The two bursaries are offered to students currently studying degrees in engineering and environmental sciences. As highlighted, they must be in either their 2nd, 3rd, or final year of their degree.
Requirements
Engineering Bursary Requirements:
- Achieved a minimum average of 65% and passed all subjects for your 2021 academic year to date
- You cannot be in receipt of another bursary or scholarship
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, but all South African Citizens are welcome to apply
Environmental Sciences Bursary Requirements:

- Completed online application form.
- Certified copy of your ID.
- Certified copies of your latest tertiary academic transcript/progress report.
- Certified proof of university registration.
- Certified copy of your matric results.
- Copy of your CV (with full contact details).
- A signed letter of declaration stating you do not have any other bursary or scholarships for 2021.
