KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala to launch Massive Vula Fund Disbursements

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala will tomorrow, 27 October 2021, launch a massive roll-out of Operation Vula Fund disbursements worth millions, which will include the handing over of equipment and business instruments to enterprises who had successfully applied for support, these included catering equipment, vehicles, computers, and farming implements.

The programme forms part of the province’s efforts to create jobs and grow the economy. Vula Fund is expected to create about 10 816 jobs.

The fund is an overarching programme to fundamentally transform the patterns of economic ownership by bringing previously marginalised groups into the mainstream economy. It is a fund to realise the policy imperatives of the ANC-led government which is Radical Economic Transformation.”
