uMlalazi Municipality invites unemployed graduates to apply for Finance and ICT Graduate / Internship Programme 2021.

Internship Location: Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified applicants for the following internship opportunities that exist within uMlalazi Municipality.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT INTERNSHIP X5 FINANCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Notice HR 08/2021

Duration: two (2) years fixed term contract

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 qualification, a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma with major concentration in Economics, Accounting or Finance, be a South African Citizen and be computer literate. Preference will be given to the applicants from previously disadvantaged background.


INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) INTERNSHIP

Notice HR 09/2021

Duration: two (2) years fixed term contract

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 qualification, a Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent in a similar related field, be a South African citizen and be computer literate.

Application for Employment Form obtainable from the Municipal Offices and Council’s website www.umlalazi.orzza and must be accompanied with detailed Curriculum Vitae; certified copies of qualifications and ID must reach the undersigned by not later than 12:00 Friday, 18 June 2021 at the Civic Offices, P.O. Box 37, Eshowe, 3815 or be deposited into Application for Employment box at Civic Offices, Hutchinson Street, Eshowe. Please note: E-mailed or Faxed applications will NOT be accepted.

The successful intern will be subjected to signing of an internship agreement to ensure commitment to the programme which requires, amongst others, full participation •in educational and workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures. People who have already participated / benefited in Government or the private sector Work Experience / Internship/ In-service Programme for a period of 12 months and above will not be considered.

It should be noted that the uMlalazi Municipality reserves the right not to fill the vacancy.
