Long before becoming a president, H.E Cyril Ramapphosa had been supporting needy but brilliant students, an initiative he began in 1996. The initiative officially became known as the Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust in 2001, funding thousands of South African students to acquire higher education in higher learning institutions.
Over the last two decades, the Trust has become one of the most credible and reliable bursaries in South Africa and continues to fund students across the country each year. Beneficiary students receive accommodation allowance, personal care allowance, tuition fees, book allowance and a host of other financial benefits.
